As a certified ‘Green Flag with Distinction’ School at Royd, we are proud to promote healthy and eco-friendly living within our school environment and community. We have conducted several campaigns throughout the year such as ‘Switch off Fortnight’, ‘Waste Week’ and now ‘Walk To School Week’. The children that form our School Eco Team; also known as ‘Royd Eco Warriors’ are the driving force behind these projects in school!
We would like to thank everyone who took part in Walk to School Week last week! Each class had lots of fun competing against each other to see who had the most children walking to school and it has been great to see the children engaged in this.
The results were very close but a huge congratulations to Class 9 who had the most children walking to school last week!
