The children thoroughly enjoyed making a mask in art in their Rio Da Vida topic. They first started by practising the skills of using modroc by scrunching up newspaper into either a ball shape or a horse shoe shape. The children then applied the modroc using water around them and let them dry to make them hard. After that, the children worked together in groups to make their very own animal mask in line with their Brazilian topic. They worked tremendously hard and loved working together as a group!
