The children in class 2 have been learning about what an artist does. The children came up with some fantastic ideas and said that artists ‘are really good at painting’, ‘artists love to draw’ and ‘artists are really good at making different things’. We talked about the different media and materials that artists use and then learnt about Piet Mondrian who used primary colours and bold lines in his paintings. We then used the computer to create our own version of his artwork. We hope you love our creations as much as we do!
