Music Workshop 30th January 2023

Key Stage 1 have really enjoyed their music workshop this afternoon, as part of their Beat Band Boogie topic!  As part of the workshop, pupils carried out warm up activities that involved following using body percussion.

After that, the children were split into two groups where they looked further at using actions to help them keep the rhythm of an African song (linked to our topic) and participated in a drumming session to look at creating a beat as well as doing some call and response on the instruments. Finally pupils performed their work to FS2 children.  All the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and had a great time!
