Recently the children in class 8 have been using modroc to create sculptures. The Year 1 children enjoyed making their snakes and the Year 2 children loved making their animal masks. To use the modroc effectively, children had to dip the strips of modroc into water, place it onto their balloon or snake and smooth it out. They needed to lay the modroc so that it would be sturdy when it dried. Once it had dried, the children added features and painted their sculpture to make it come to life! It got a little bit messy but we had great fun!
