‘How does that building stay up?’

This half term we have welcomed new friends into nursery, we have been busy getting to know each other and the nursery routines. We have also been investigating our new topic ‘How does that building stay up?’ We have explored using a variety of construction materials to build different structures with. We have looked at the story of ‘The Three Little Pigs’ and this has been our main driver behind our provision activities. Providing the children with a vast range of different materials to explore and create with, has encouraged children to discuss and describe the different properties of them. We have enjoyed being challenged to solve problems and come up with different ideas and strategies to find a resolution. Great job Nursery!
