‘How many colours in a Rainbow?’

In Class One we have just introduced our new topic; ‘How Many Colours in a Rainbow?’ We have started this topic by immersing our children in colour; so far we have spoken about different colour names, sorted colours, experimented with colour and discussed how rainbows are formed. The children have enjoyed collaging a giant rainbow for our wall and completing a rainbow experiment using skittles. We have also spoken about the change in seasons and we are really loving the sunshine coming out to play. We can’t wait to share all the other fun activities that we have planned for the rest of this half term, including colour mixing, painting workshops and much, much more!
