This half term in the 2-year provision our topic has been ‘Which is the biggest dinosaur?’ The children have enjoyed accessing various activities around our provision such as, using different dinosaurs to put in order of size and matching the dinosaurs on our dinosaur domino game. The children have enjoyed playing with green playdough to mould their own dinosaurs. In the craft area we stomped the large dinosaurs into the different coloured paint to make lots of dinosaur footprints. We also used cotton wool buds to stick onto our dinosaur template to create dinosaur bones.The children enjoyed the cold dinosaur moulds of ice in the water tray and playing with them until they melted.
We have all had a roarsome term!!!!
