Nursery celebrated world book day by focusing on the book ‘The Great Goat Chase’ the children enjoyed creating different animals linked to the story through a variety of crafts. Such as clay models, using paper plates to create goats and using a wide variety of different painting methods such as potato and fork printing. The children loved acting out the story in the small world area and even on a larger scale in the construction area too! We really loved the story and how the bee managed to get the goats to leave the farmer’s turnip field by threatening to sting their bottoms!
